Meet Dylan Donegan, our incredible 2025–2026 Justin’s Wings of Hope Scholarship recipient.
Dylan is from Hicksville, New York, and is a member of Iona University's Class of 2028, where he is pursuing a degree in Marketing. In addition to his studies, Dylan is a dedicated member of the Iona track and field team.
One of Dylan's favorite parts of being a student at Iona is the opportunity to compete alongside teammates who share the same drive and determination. Through his experience as a Division I student-athlete, he has built meaningful friendships and learned the value of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. Dylan credits his teammates and coaches for continually pushing him to grow both on and off the track.
Looking ahead, Dylan hopes to build a career in sports marketing, combining his passion for athletics with the knowledge and skills he is gaining through his business education. His goal is to find a career that allows him to make an impact in the sports industry while supporting himself and his family.
Reflecting on the scholarship, Dylan shared that the support has helped ease his family's financial stress and allowed him to embrace his college experience fully. Dylan is grateful for the opportunity to pursue his dream of competing at the Division I level while earning an outstanding education at Iona University.
