The holiday season is a time of giving and spreading joy to those in need, and this year was no different at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. On December 15, 2022, a group of gift-giving elves from Justin's Wings of Hope Foundation made a special visit to the hospital to spread some cheer among the pediatric patients.
Justin's Wings of Hope Foundation arrived at hospital bearing gifts of headphones, air pods, pajamas, coloring books, crayons, and pencils. These gifts were carefully chosen to bring joy and comfort to the young patients during their stay at the hospital. The children were overjoyed to receive these gifts and the smiles on their faces were priceless.
Brenda L. Fareri, Vice Chair of Westchester Medical Center Foundation, expressed her gratitude to the foundation and its supporters, saying, "Every gift from supporters like you makes a difference in our care. We thank you on behalf of the pediatric patients we serve and our family of caregivers."
Located in Valhalla New York, Maria Fareri Children's Hospital is member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network that offers specialized medical and emergency services for children. The 136-bed advanced pediatric center cares for the Hudson Valley’s most ill and injured children. The hospital is home to the Hudson Valley’s only Level I pediatric trauma and burn care programs, pediatric intensive care unit and its regional neonatal intensive care unit
